After several months of looking and auditioning guitarist, we would like to welcome Mark Cox into the OverDrive family. We have been trying to add a second guitarist for a while now and have met some talented musicians along the way, but the search ended this week when Mark walked into practice. Mark brings an aggressive style of playing to the table, which is exactly what we were looking for. For the next couple of weeks we will be working hard with Mark rewriting the older songs to fit two guitars, and incorporating him into our new material. Mark also brings another set of back up vocals to the band, so get ready for some killer harmonies in our songs now! As for the rest of the band, we've been working hard latley writing new material, and getting ready to rock your asses off this year!!! Be sure to mark your calenders, and come out to our first show of the year at Halligan's in West Ashley March 27th, this will be Marks first show of the year with us, and the start of Jimmy's BDay bash weekend! It's going to be one hell of a show and party afterwards, and we want to see all of yall out for it. In the mean time, you can check out Mark, add him to your myspace, and show him a little OverDrive love. You can find him in our top friends list. We'll see yall in March!!!

It's been a long time since we have given any insight to what has been going on behind the scenes of the band. For those of you who do not know, we had a few member changes a little while back due to mutual circumstances. While we wish the former members of OverDrive all the success in their endeavors, I am happy to welcome our new additions. Daniel Hendrix and Kyle Galowski have teamed up with us and the results have been nothing short of spectacular. Daniel brings with him an incredible vocal range and explosive showmanship in live performances, and Kyle will mesmerize you while ripping your face off with his dynamic and powerful drumming skills. These two bring to the band an incredibly diverse background and thier influences have helped transform the sound of OverDrive. Trust me if you thought we were good before, you will be blown away now. We have been working tirelessly on our new music and we can not wait for you to hear it. On Saturday November 8 at The Dive in Goose Creek we will be playing our first show in 6 months and we want you to be there to help us rock harder than ever before. Be prepared for an incredible show as we take the stage with Enter the Era, Soul's Harbor, Hydrovibe, and BobaFlex. I promise you we will not let you down, but don't come expecting to hear our old music - we are starting over fresh with all new songs that are stronger and better than ever before! We'll see you on the 8th, and tell your friends. After we get done kicking your asses from the stage, we'll be drinking with you at the bar. Don't miss it!

Currently OverDrive is undergoing some internal changes but we promise you that we are still working at it hard and pumping out some great new music that is sure to make your fists pump and your head rock! We have changed a few members and are in the midst of adding another guitarist. If you know someone or are someone that would be interested in auditioning for us please contact us.
